The Kentucky Court of Appeals has upheld a verdict against an imprisoned Ku Klux Klan leader.
The court had thrown out a Meade County’s verdict against Ron Edwards in January saying there was not enough evidence to hold him liable for the beating of a man at the Meade County Fair.
On Friday it reversed itself and awarded Jordan Gruver $1.3 million. Gruver was beaten by several KKK members at the fair in 2006.
Edwards is in federal prison on drug and gun charges.
