I am a lefty and even I am not sympathetic to Krugman. His political leanings have way too often clouded his economical judgement.

I hear that.

Fact is, Wall Street works because it is creative- and that is a good thing.

And it is also because Wall Street is so creative is precisely why tighter regulations (which protect the investor and not does stifle creativity) are necessary.
