Pot, meet kettle.

bull -- you might not agree with him but Biden's done international negotiations, and Biden knows the Geopolitics of the subcontinent which is more than you can say for any of the GOP candidates but Romney and Gingrich.
Biden's from the administration that got Bin Laden instead of jawboning about it, Biden's from the administration that's gone everywhere in the world to kill actual Al Qaeda leaders, and they've killed more of them than Bush did in his 7 year run. Biden comes from the administration that tamped down piracy off the horn of Africa, and Biden's from the administration that took out Ghadaffi by supporting the insurgents in Libya.

re: #2 Thanos

Your points are well taken. However, beyond the negotiations, all that is mentioned are the "maturing" of military & covert programs that had their base in place before this administration was conceived.

Beyond that Obama is also providing good policy with our biggest trading partner who's also resource hungry in the South China sea, and with India, one of our prime allies in the East. He's taken a much tougher stance with Pakistan, and that's paying off as well. The list goes on and on, he beats the GOP players hands down across almost all international fronts.
Perry v Putin? Don't make me laugh.

I quite agree that the GOP candidates do not meet minimum threshold.

Biden crystallizes my thoughts exactly. Despite Bush's huge flaws, he understood foreign policy. And while I believe Obama has proven himself to be much more effective, it is VERY hard for me to believe that these extremist 'true' GOP candidates would know what the hell they are doing. This ain't the gun slinging west where the world cow-tows to American machismo, which is essentially what the right believes. America does have might and power but flaunting it, threatening other nations and being an arrogant ass does absolutely nothing other than isolating ourselves and creating more turmoil and backlash.

That's why you thought you'd open the comments with an attack on the VPOTUS?
