Oh come on, like they really care what the gold is worth anyway? They just want to have some to bury in the backyard and save against the coming complete "World Economic Collapse" that their pet Pundits are predicting so that they can take it to trade for...err...other stuff.

Of course if there truly were a complete "World Economic Collapse" then Gold would be as worthless as paper currency anyway. Can you eat gold, use it to fuel a car or tractor, or plant it to grow food? No. So why should it be worth anything in a barter economy, huh?

These poor gullible idiots who are suckered by these sales pitches are just throwing their money away by buying Gold at peak prices thru middlemen with percentage mark-ups attached. That in itself should be considered fraud even before you add their other alleged misconduct.

The last time this happened was in January of 1980, when the price of Gold hit $850.00 an ounce. Today you would have to get $2477.15 for that same ounce of gold just to break even on your investment after inflation. I encourage everyone to think long and hard about the wisdom of investing in gold to guard against financial upheavals.
