Oh for heaven’s sake. Does he blame the promotion of heterosexuality for the sexual abuse of little girls? I thought not.

Of course not. But this is the same thing I’d ask of anyone who blames the scandal on gays.

Keyes suggests that the “almost religious promotion of homosexuality” created a culture of “political correctness” that prevented people from investigating Sandusky…

Of course none of this is based on, dare I say it, SCIENTIFIC STUDY. It’s just conjecture by a bunch of men with a strange obsession.

Besides, pedophilia and homosexuality are two different things. A man who abuses little girls has no more of a healthy sex life with grown women, than a gay pedophile has with adult same sex partners.

Also, it would seem that the outing of homosexuality in the last couple decades seems to have actually given strength to victims of sexual abuse and has enabled them to speak out - the opposite of what these bigots claim. The cases against the Catholic church are coming out by the 100s. A lot of that, too, is that children over the last 20-30 years have been taught about good touch, bad touch, and difficult as it still is for a little person to report abuse by an adult, they are far more apt to do so now than when I was a kid - 40 or 50 years ago. Probably why Paterno never said anything and McQueary did. Check out the age differences.
