The Harry Potter books, which have sold millions of copies worldwide, "seem innocuous" but in fact encourage children to believe in black magic and wizardry, Father Amorth said.

Isn't it part of the job description for an exorcist to believe in black magic and wizardry?

re: #2 Bob Levin

Not to mention that many in power in the Catholic Church see no problems with Harry Potter. This guy is going down Stupid Ave. independently.

The Rite was the scariest fucking movie I've ever seen and I don't believe in Exorcism --except, well as maybe placebo for the truly deluded.

Anthony Hopkins truly had be suspend my disbelief. I was totally freaked.
One of his best performances EVAH!

Other than that, this exorcist guy is freaking nuts. Harry Potter and Yoga are both about individual responsibility and free will. What is not for the church to like?
