Why do you link to your blog when this is just a piece taken from The Economist?

Because over the years I have a core of readers who come to the blog because of my selection of posts (Those visitors do not necessarily include LGF readers). I do put some effort in finding what I believe are interesting posts.

Overall, the vast majority of posts on LGF are direct links to other sights

Whereas I used to write regularly, over the last few years I have seen an increased workload, thus precluding a lot of time to devote to blog writing.

That said, I am writing for non blog purposes.

re: #2 researchok

It’s a little bit of an annoying jump to have to go first to your blog and then follow the link from there; if you’re forcing that, you could provide some commentary as well. Or commentary here, too, for that matter.

That’s certainly fair, I suppose- I could provide some commentary.

Constructive criticism is appreciated.
