Son of islamic jihad founder jailed in Syria

While Syrian dictator Assad continues to butcher his own people, it is noteworthy that they’d arrest someone like this kid.

Not sure what this means (if anything), but islamic jihad was one of syria’s proxies so it strikes me as very strange for Assad to arrest the founder’s son.
