Meh, the number of people who go through and renouce thier citizenship are incredibly small, not really a big deal at all.

I've heard thatif a citizen renounces their citizenship, they're taxed 50% of their assets. (Law Hawk...?)

Either way, don't let the door hit ya on your way out. Since our taxes are lower than almost any civilized nation, please let us know how life's treating you elsewhere. Buh bye. Buh bye now.

Well most of them aren't citizens of the nation their birth certificate or passport claims. They really belong to that abstract system known as globalism.

They're just clearing the air.

My ancestors who paid such a high price in war for me to be free would come back and whap me upside the head.

And I would deserve it.

I suspect this renunciation talk is coming from the first and second tier oil ticks who have relocated their corporate offices to places like the Potemkin village of Bahrain. Fine with me, I'll take a few hard working Mexicans or Korean entrepreneurs over any number of spoiled leeches any day.
I want to apply one condition though: Make sure the ingrates understand that they're on their own when the Iranians arrive in their speed boats.

When these fat ticks go, the US of A will officially become a third world country. Think about what that means: a solution to unemployment is imminent. America the sweatshop! Woot!
