Fucking sociopath.

It's not that there's someone who thinks like this that startles me.

It's that this person thinks of himself as a Christian leader. That's peculiar.

What's he the head of? Oh yes, the American Family Association. Because American families are chomping at the bit to watch their loved ones die unnecessarily just so those who can pay more can have the best coverage.

Fischer, if you ever do get to meet Jesus on your way to Hell, this is what he'll say to you:

‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment

Yeah, 'cause everyone knows Jesus (a.s.) would've turned them away. //

Many people are now using emergency rooms like corner medical clinics, for routine, non-emergency care, because they know they can get care that somebody else will be obligated to pay for.

Funny how he doesn't provide any documentation for this claim. When I was working but uninsured I loved nothing better than to mooch off the system for routine, non-emergency treatment.

I mean, who wouldn't jump at the chance to lose a day's desperately needed pay to go sit in the ER for 8-10 hours while they treat more critically ill patients, just so you could get them to check your blood pressure? It's a walk in the park! Maybe Mr. Fischer should try it sometime.

As a matter of fact, I'd like to see all these wealthy asshats that are always talking about how shiftless & greedy the poor are spend 90 days living in their shoes trying to make ends meet.

I love it when people try to say that fiscal and social conservatives aren't the same thing

Because Jesus just loved to turn his back on the poor.

One can be a socialist and still hate women, gays, promote theocracy and creationism.

This is good for cutting the bureaucracy. Instead of implementing Obama's death panels choosing who lives and dies, just let them all die. God will sort them out.

*Please*. It's not like guys like Fischer need to read the Bible to know that their right-wing views are what Jesus would have wanted. After all, they're already Saved! They know they're doing the right thing, implicitly!

If his wish came true, and that would be the world.....I would wish that he be in an accident. And have no ID of any kind on him. And nobody to know who he is or weather or not he is insured. And he is unconscious. And they cannot wake him. So they put him in the parking lot to die. Just like he wished.

I'm thinking he got his understanding of the Bible from Conservapedia

14 RealityBasedSteve  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 6:35:16pm

So, Obama proposes a plan to bring medical costs under control and make sure that everybody has access to quality health care and the wing-nut right screams "Death Panels!!!! Socialism!!!!"

A leader of the religious right proposes making sure that poor people can't get health care, and apparently it's simply the free markets being fair.

Please make the hurt go away

This. I can't imagine a Catholic priest saying anything even close to this.

75 years ago, you wouldn't have heard a Baptist preacher say this kind of thing. Today, it's practically standard doctrine.

As I've mentioned before, among Baptists it is the traditionalists who are liberal in their worldview and the radicals who espouse these brutish Dark Age views.

Is it even possible that someone this deceitful, hateful, and cruel could actually believe in divine judgment and heaven and hell?
I not only don't buy their half-baked pidgin theology, I would be hard-pressed to find any evidence that they believe it themselves.
