While you might disagree with Santorum's answer, that then begs the question: What should a drug cost? And, who ought to pay for it?

Wha-wha-wait a second.
People in the United States are conditioned to think that health care is something you can get without paying for it?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

The VA Negotiates with drug companies, but medicare patients can't.

Can you name one country (that you could live in) that the govt doesn't have same say in the price of drugs. You can't.

re: #1 freetoken

We should have single-payer health insurance that pays for the cost of such medications.

And the cost, as noted by others above, should be a reflection of negotiation by that insurance scheme.

Like too many people, Santorum is using his beliefs to be a heartless jackass. He knows he's being a jerk, but it's allowed because 'FREE MARKET!'

I love Santorum's blatant double standards. It's okay for the government to tell women they can't get abortions or a gay couple to marry but the market can do whatever it wants. Seriously what a hypocritical ass this guy is and I love that he polls high among those looking for "high character and values."
