10 Killed as Palestinian Children’s Bus, Truck Collide Near Jerusalem
Nine Palestinian children and one adult were killed on Thursday after a children’s bus collided with a truck north of Jerusalem. Ten people were reportedly injured in the accident.
The accident took place near Adam Square in the north side of the capital, not for from the Hizma checkpoint separating Jerusalem and the West Bank. Emergency crews have arrived at the scene and are tending to the injured.

According to preliminary reports, the bus overturned and caught fired as a result of the collision.
The bus was carrying children from a kindergarten in the Shuafat refugee camp on their way to a field trip to a park near Ramallah.
Last month, three people were killed and five injured in a serious road accident between on route 804 in northern Israel.
