Sometimes I wonder if Pat Robertson really understand what it is to be a believer.

Why does this attitude surprise anyone? The far right Christianist cult in this country believes if anything bad happens to you, you lack faith. Unfortunately they keep skipping the Gospel verse where Jesus says “the rain falls on the just and the unjust.”

Pat Robertson is an incredibly confused person. I think he needs help.

Midwest: Tornadoes
East Coast/Gulf Coast: Hurricanes
West Coast: Earthquakes/Volcanoes
Northern/Mountain U.S.: Snowstorms/Blizzards/Avalanches
Coastal U.S.: Tsunamis
Most of the U.S.: Yellowstone Supervolcano
Virtually anywhere in the U.S.: Floods
Planet Earth: Asteroids/Gamma Ray bursts

Where should we build our houses if disasters can happen anywhere, Mr. Robertson

I’ve been praying regularly to hit the lottery for decades. I’m not greedy I just want to hit it once. Hell I’d settle even for a small jackpot. What am I doing wrong Pat? How can I increase my effectiveness?

Sometimes Pat Robertson just leaves me speechless.

9 Mostly sane, most of the time.  Mar 5, 2012 1:36:35pm

God expects that we have the foresight to plan for natural disasters and the compassion to help those hit by natural disasters. That last part, if you read your NT correctly, is pretty much a commandment.

Trust in God, but tie your camel.

I take it Pat Roberson’s god needs to have a lot of people pray for something. What ever happened to John 14:13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” I fail to see the part about “if enough people ask”….
Perhaps Pat needs to do the praying, personally.

God has bestowed upon Pat an incredible power to draw bulls-eyes around bullet holes with 100% accuracy.
