Violence in Mali
Well, it appears that the April election in which a BYU alumnus might have been the first Mormon to be president of a country, Yeah Samake, might not happen.
The military, as third world militaries are wont to do, has revolted.
It makes me appreciate the Revolutionary army all the more. They were grossly neglected and suffered hardship during the war, but under the leadership of George Washington did not revolt. He was a truly great man, a great Cincinnatus.
I hope that Yeah Samake, and his family, as well as other peaceable inhabitants of Mali, are safe.
