ABC News releases enhanced Zimmerman video
ABC News released today an enhanced video of George Zimmerman as he was brought into the Sanford Police station, and at about 1:02, there do appear to be marks on the back of his head. It’s a much better picture than the one The Daily Caller posted last week.
See the report here.
While this does seem to lend some credibility to Zimmerman’s story - which I thought had been unraveling daily with the release of information that seemed to undermine it - I still believe his claim of having his head “bashed against a sidewalk” is grossly exaggerated, because if that actually did happen, he would likely have suffered a concussion, or some sort of head injury that prevented him from walking around as effortlessly as he does in this video.
And on top of that, the man simply should have heeded the 911 dispatcher’s request to not follow Trayvon and let the police handle the matter, because if he had done that, this would not have happened. Period. Someone else here said that by getting involved he put himself “in harm’s way,” and thus the Stand Your Ground law doesn’t apply. Maybe, but he is culpable all the same
