Jack is loved and hated in the computing world but here are some of his achievements while at Commodore and Atari:

-One of the first successful personal computers, the Commodore PET.
(1977)

-One of the best selling home computers of all time, the Commodore 64.
(1982)

-Keeping the Atari name afloat in consumer products for another decade.
(1984-1996, Atari Corp. was a separate company from Atari, Inc.)

-The first computer with MIDI ports, the Atari 520ST.
(1985)

-Continuing to support the 2600 VCS and other Warner-era Atari products.
(1984-1992)

-The first color hand held video game system, the Atari Lynx.
(1989)

As far as Jack's sons go, I will say that Sam was unrealistically optimistic about the Jaguar but Leonard was rather competent at Atari Corp.

I had the Vic 20, the 64s poor cousin. I also had the cassette tape drive for it. I saved up for it with my paper route money. I loved that setup.
