Consider the following statements and views made by an anonymous right winger and see if you can guess who wrote them (all emphasis in the statements added by me):

Most sincere Americans want to take a correct position on the various controversial issues, but some don’t even know what the issues are let alone what position is the “right” position. Others know what the issues are and what position to take but don’t know why they should hold these views.

This treatise is to help teachers, ministers, students and all in leadership positions identify the issues, think them through, and to help them come to a firm position that will withstand the jeers and onslaughts of the liberals - liberals who have lost their punch in recent years.

If I were a liberal I would be embarrassed at the miserable failure of liberalism especially in the last 25 years. In fact, I would recognize the error of my ways, repent and be converted and stop pulling on that rope of sand!

In these essays I try to shoot the liberal out of the water as I deal with the most controversial issues facing this nation. After reading this, you should know the general position taken by liberals and conservatives anad the reasons why you should be a conservative.

Liberalism has proven itself bankrupt in every arena: political, economic, theological and educational. I do not affirm the above simply because there is a conservative breeze turning the maple leaves of the land. We have had liberal programs sold to us as being workable and desirable anad have observed that they are neither workable or desirable.

Most Christian conservatives get up each morning and curse the political and philosophical darkness around them. With the proper information, we can arise each day and light a candle and “burn liberals all day long.”

On Abortion

If it can be determined that the fetus inside the mother is not a child, then it can be argued abortion is not wrong. However, if a fetus is a child, then doctors who perform abortions are truly baby butchers.

Life comes from God. The man produces the sperm; it unites with the egg. But God gives the life. It is known that the sperm and egg making contact will not always result in pregnancy. The reason is unknown to doctors but not to those who read the bible.

Psamlm 127:3 states: “Children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is His reward.”

Now since God gives life, is it not dangerous for man to abort that life? God will not hold mothers, doctors, nurses, and judges guiltless for this slaughter of the innocent.

The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld and even encouraged the killing of babies in its January 22, 1973 decision (Roe V. Wade). You can be sure the justices who voted for abortion on demand did not open the Bible to come to their decision.

The Supreme Court has displayed incompetency in many areas; but that has never discouraged them from rendering incredible decisions. They see themselves as great social changers rather than adjudicators of the law.

The court decision of 1973 saud that unborn babies have no right to life. Now, they have said that rapists have a right to life and killers have a right to life, but innocent babies do not! The 14th amendment states: “No state shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person the equal protection of the laws.”

How did the “joy boys” of he Supreme Court get around the 14th amendment? Easy. They said that unborn babies were not “persons” or were “non persons”. This calls to mind the Dred Scott decision of 1857 which held that blacks were not “persons”. Slaves could be bought, sold, beaten or even killed by the slave owner. The 14th amendment corrected that barbaric decision.

But, now the court has said that the unborn child is not a “person” and can be killed on request of its owner (mother). We need another amendment to protect the innocent from the baby killers.

On issues in education

Return Bible morality to schools; not a particular denomination but simple Bible teaching and prayer. Let each school system reflect the general religious philosophy of the area. (i.e, Catholics, Baptist, Amish, etc.). Patriotism, unabashed, flag waving patriotism should be promited every day in every class. Fire all communists, fellow travelers, Black Nationalists, and other anti-Americans!

Fire any woman who gets pregnant before she sees the preacher. Do the same for all sodomites and lesbians.

On American identity

Can You Remember back when our nation was great?

Can you remember…

When our schools were peaceful?

When our cities were safe?

When girls never hitched rides with strangers?

When criminals were in jail, not hospitals or country clubs?

When degenerates were still in the closets?

When babies were born out of wedlock, but there was shame and regret?

When a man went to the hospital for a couple of weeks if he ridiculed the flag? - when he was buried if he spat on it?

When Americans traveled overseas and were respected and admired?

When we kept our national commitments to our friends?

When our enemies had a healthy fear of the U.S.?

When you could watch TV and never heard God’s name taken in vain and not see a bedroom scene all week?

When you could afford to eat steak once a week?

When you could get a job done right for a reasonable price?

When a man had hair on his chest and bone in his back?

When teachers, policemen and firefighters never carried picket signs?

When welfare was for the elderly, the sick and the blind, not the young, the healthy and the lazy?

On Homosexuality

There is nothing gay about the homosexual way!

Homosexuality is not normal, acceptable behavior. God created male and female and every person knows how God expected them to react to each other. Any deviation is a threat to civilization.

Whoever first called homosexuals “Gay” had a twisted sense of humor. They like to present the gay life as carefree, happy, and glamourous; but surely informed homosexuals know the stark facts: Fifty percent of suicides and homicides in large cities can be attributed to homosexuals. According to American Medical News, half the cases of syphilis in large cities can be traced to homosexuals. Not very exciting is it?

It’s incredible we are having this discussion in our public schools and the media. Twenty five years ago there would not have been an issue but today it’s a major debate. Why? It goes back to the fact men don’t have a rudder to guide them. Their lives have not been built upon a moral, Biblical foundation. They have not heard that certain things are right and certain things are wrong. They have been told that what consenting adults do in private is perfectly legitimate. So they say “live and let live” after all, homosexuality is a victimless crime.”

Oh, really? I have some news for you neighbor. It’s not victimless. Homosexuals cannot reproduce. They have to recruit. Who do you think they are going to recruit? They’re after your children and mine.

I do not believe that every homosexual is a child molester. In fact, the homosexuals constantly point out that there are more incidents of heterosexual molesting than there are among homosexuals. Of course there are far more heterosexuals than homosexuals.

What these people don’t seem to understand is, we believe that if a heterosexual man molests a little girl, that also is perversion and that individual should go to jail. They are both an evil influence.

But, homosexuals are recruiting, and they’re recruiting the children as later testimony will prove.

Now you’re probably thinking these comments are pulled from the collected works of Bryan Fischer, or the blog of one of many CPAC attendees or a series of posts on breitbart.com or a collection of comments from Fox Nation .

In fact these words were penned over 30 years ago by an evangelist named Don Boys. They are excerpts from a book of his entitled: “Liberalism: A rope of sand”.

The book is not well known at all as far as I can tell. There are only a grand total of 15 copies available for sale on Amazon and not one single person has reviewed it. That tells me that this book was dismissed by a lot of people when it came out and never really taken seriously to begin with.

But go back and look at those words again. Tell me that any one of dozens of right wing pundits and bloggers couldn’t take those statements, package them into an anti-Obama book and sell a million copies or more?

Or, to put it even more simply: In many ways, the views espoused above are MORE acceptable to hold today than they were 30 years ago. If this wasn’t so, why didn’t Boys sell a ton of copies of the book?

No readily available sales data exists for the book. Neither it nor its author have any listing in wikipedia. A Google search on the title only brings back listings to purchase it off used book sites. A more popular item would no doubt have a larger web presence than this book does.

And as for the author, here’s a brief bio…

Dr. Don Boys was born in West Virginia, and received his early education there. Following his salvation as a teen, he preached on the streets of Huntington, in the jails, parks and missions.

He entered Moody Bible Institute immediately after high school, was married and continued his education at Tennessee Temple College, Immanuel College and Heritage Baptist University where he earned his Ph.D.

While an evangelist and Christian school administrator, Boys was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives, and was identified by the media as the ‘most conservative member of the General Assembly.’

Dr. Boys is very much still alive and promoting the same viewpoints now that he did then. He is STRONGLY anti-evolution (in the book, he refers to Darwin as “Chuck Darwin”) and thinks that anyone who believes in it is nuts. Google it if you want, he’s got a number of anti-evolution diatribes posted online.

You can also find many posts of his at cstnews.com. He posts on other sites as well. One recent entry included the following list of questions he feels reporters should ask of President Obama:

“Will you disavow “honor killings” anywhere on earth?

“Are you willing to deplore and disapprove of genital mutilation of little girls?

“Will you agree that any person, here or in any Muslim nation, has a right to convert to any religion without retaliation? Please don’t insult us by hiding behind, ‘Well, that is a decision a sovereign nation must decide for itself.’

“Are you willing to concede that the terrorist problem is almost completely a Muslim problem?

“Are you willing to begin a campaign to discover the hidden Muslim cells in America and incarcerate any terrorists including those associated with a mosque?

“Will you work diligently to declaw the TSA and make it really safe for Americans to fly again by instituting profiling of all passengers? Most of the suspicious passengers will be innocent so officials will apologize and send them on their way.

“Are you willing to investigate the various institutions where Muslims are recruiting and developing terrorists? That would include the military, the CIA, the FBI, the prisons, the State Department, and other areas of life?

“Are you willing to help Don Boys and others start the Trinity Baptist Church somewhere in Saudi Arabia? After all, President Jefferson, on Oct. 31,1803, proposed to the U. S. Senate a treaty with the Kaskaskai Indians which provided federal money to support a priest and to build a church. It was ratified on Dec. 23, 1803. Boys has pledged the first thousand dollars and since you profess to be a ‘devoted Christian’ he thinks you would be excited to pledge the second thousand. I understand the Baptists prefer to have their church down the street from the Kaaba (Muslims’ holiest site) but would be willing to locate anywhere in Saudi.

“Maybe the Muslim leaders would be willing to permit the Baptists to meet in the Kaaba until they can construct their own building! (After all, some ‘Protestant’ churches have permitted Muslims to meet in their church.) Since the Kaaba is a square building, it might be appropriate for the Baptists to meet there since most of us media celebrities think Baptists are really square. What is your thinking on this matter? I suppose as a devoted Christian, you are interested in missions. Right?”

Tough questions! However, if a man (or woman) asks Americans to hand over the nation to their leadership, an office that includes a beautiful mansion, generous salary, retirement benefits, generous health care, a couple of jet planes and helicopters to carry them on exotic vacations, then such politicians should be questioned thoroughly.

Are there any reporters out there dedicated to truth and the American Way who are willing to ask Obama those questions?

Whether you agree or disagree with Dr. Boys’ views, he certainly states them clearly and strongly and finds himself right at home with a lot of others on the right these days. Suddenly rhetoric that was once considered highly inappropriate is standard discussion in political circles.

The calendar says 2012. We like to think we’ve come so far as human beings, but it seems obvious to just about anyone that we haven’t made anywhere near the progress we think we have.
