No, you are a disgrace both to your precious Corps and to every man and woman that has ever worn a US uniform. Go play with the other disgraces & oathbreakers like Ollie North and his ilk.

Had to be done. No military can tolerate a public declaration of disobedience such as Gary Stein uttered. He deserves his punitive discharge for his foolish actions.

He would have had the same thing happen had he did the same about Bush. Fair is fair.

I was in the active Army in the early ‘80’s and, frankly, I probably had even less respect for my CinC. Had I expressed that fact publicly, however, I would have expected my EM/NCO ass to be busted 16 ways to Sunday. You just STFU, STFD & obey your lawful orders. It’s that simple.

My only regret with him is that he got off light with that Conditions Other Than Honorable Discharge. Should have been at least a BCD in my book.

How’s it feel to be an ex-Marine, Stein?

You pissed away your career and threw away your privilege to be called a former Marine when you publicly stated that you would disobey your superior officers and CinC if you got orders that you didn’t agree with.

It better have been worth it all, because there’s a whole lot of employers that look at someone with a OTH discharge as being just as bad as someone with a bad conduct discharge (which is usually reserved for soldiers convicted of felony-level offenses, IIRC).

Your peeps in the Birther/Black Helicopter scene best be helping you out, because you have fuckall chances for a legit job outside of the Corps that doesn’t involve asking people, “Do you want fries with that?”

As a military veteran myself, while I disagreed with both presidents under whom I served, I never spoke disparagingly about them, even though they both more than deserved it at one time or other.

U.S. Navy, 1979-84.
