Mitt Romney debuts first general election ad - vows to approve Keystone, end Obamacare on Day 1
In addition to the moves mentioned in the headline Romney also promises to immediately start implementing “tax cuts and reforms that reward job creators, not punish them.”
Because of course, the only way to solve a massive national debt problem is to CUT taxes. But don’t kid yourselves people, the tax cuts Romney is talking about in this ad are meant to benefit his big business buddies, not Joe Schmo on main street.
And once again we see the blatant hypocrisy of the right wing. Romney pledges in this ad to “immediately” approve the Keystone pipeline on the first day of his Presidency. Can you imagine the uproar on the Right if Obama vowed to say “immediately” implement cap and trade on the first day of his Second Term?
