I think that at the end of the link is quite a bit of evidence. These supposed leaders have no source of income that explain them having 100's of millions in assets.

There is a long history of corruption in the PA going back to Arafat. There is no accounting, and no serious calls for any accounting. This is a recipe for more corruption.

The money IS actually missing, and "officials" who earn a salary of less than $100K a year have millions in assets.

They are allowed to police themselves, so no actual proof will be forth coming as no one independent will be investigating.

My beef with Aigle is that all it ever does is spam-post links from Camera, never even an excerpt, and has never posted a comment. It is a programmed spambot which somebody at Camera has turned loose over here. At one time Charles made some adjustments to the page-posting code, and Aigle's posts were messed up for a while until the programmer at Camera made the corrections to the spamming code.

I have no issue with a real actual person posting articles from Camera and then sticking around to participate in the conversation, but this drive-by spam posting sucks.

I'm not bothered by aigle being a bot either, as long as what he posts is informative enough and not just meaningless gibberish. Some of camera posts are indeed informative, I learned a few things here and there.

Personally, I think it's time to get over the "spam" thing. Maybe it is, but who cares? aigle's pages no longer displace other posts with the new system, so...

The problem isn't necessarily the message, but the messenger - aigle/spambot has been doing nothing more than pushing links from CAMERA, and instead of participating in discussions about some important subject matter, it's a drive-by.

That's the main reason that so many people down-ding these posts. It's because they're showing displeasure with the methods CAMERA is using. Many of these same people would probably upding these same posts had CAMERA/Aigle actually stuck around to discuss the posts or do anything more than merely link back. It's a waste of their (CAMERA's) time and effort IMO to continue with this.

Just think that if CAMERA did send someone over here to post and engage in discussion how much further these posts would get - wider distribution. It's a failed strategy on their part.

People downding Aigle reflexively precisely because it doesn't stick around and defend anything, ever. It's a bot. It takes its daily dump here and leaves without ever providing an excerpt, commentary or any feedback whatsoever. It's never posted one comment, this was its behavior from day one when it arrived almost three years ago. It's not a response to hostility, this is the behavior that generates hostility.
