This is actually true and why I refuse to see the Bible as a book of moral authority or the word of God. Anytime someone tries to convince me that mu agnosticism is wrong I ask them why the Bible doesn’t have a single passage condemning the institution of slavery if it’s the word of God? Don’t you think God would have something to say about such an evil institution? It usually ends the conversation and they back off.

Seriously, if you are agnostic or atheist, this always works every time.
