I am amused at how freeper GOPsterinMA wants to get all "SS/holocausty" on the "liberals" while on a road trip with a convicted pedophile. The ALL CAPS the others freepers used is a bonus on the moonbat kook amusment scale.

It's a really disturbing comment honestly. I bet you that same idiot thinks Obama is a tyrant and this bill is an erosion of freedom yet here he is calling for a genocide on people whose ideology he hates and for them to be raped. Sick fucker.

I'm not exulting over this.

The rightwing-nuthouse is going to be frothing at the mouth, and if they lose in November they'll feel they've got no other recourse left; the extremists are going to resort to violence because they've been primed for it for the last three years by right-wing extremists in the media.

Great find, however:

It might be helpful if you swap the slug line with the lead in sentence, otherwise this is too much "inside baseball." Many skim right past slug lines so a casual reader who doesn't know that Free Republic is a steaming pit of Far Right cess might get a little lost with the jargon, and the lack of quotes might make them think it's your opinion at first. Don't assume that every reader is as politically informed or as well read a netizen as you if you want to convince and move more of the general public.
The unicorn tears thing does make a great snark line & is highly creative & I liked it, but it makes a better slug.

Once again, Lord Soros has demonstrated his divine wisdom with a plan whose full brilliance becomes apparent only as it unfolds.

He has obviously used his false flag radio operation to seed the wingnut nation with insane health-care memes and conspiracy theories in order to destroy their ability to resist our ongoing subversion and conquest.
In the process, he has hardened their faith in divine intervention, health supplements, and quack medicine, destroying their physical health and capacity as well.

Our unworthy minds shrink in awe at the intricate harmony of this seamless and devastating dual attack!

Hail Soros, left hand of the left!

1. The time has come for Einsatzgruppen against ALL liberals.

That's horrible, even by wingnut standards.

Does the author want to hold public killings? Will the local tea party get to beat liberals to death with iron bars? Will we all be shot as partisans? Will the children of liberals be tossed in the air and shoot, so that the bullet that passes through won't strike someone else? Perhaps they like the power imagery of shooting a prostrate person in the back of the head. Perhaps the author is excited at the prospect of stripping and searching the women...or the men...before making them lie face-down in a mass grave, layer after layer.

The dead will not just have their lives taken from them: they'll, in death, be reframed as the aggressors, the traitors, and the partisans. Every one of them was shot in defense of the nation.

I'm not trying to be vulgar, but that is what is encoded in the statement above. Blahblahblah one lone wolf poster non-representative exception--I don't care. I stand up to the people that let anger or need for power drive them to fantasies of hurting the other, even when we otherwise agree.

This is a movement of cowards and bullies, and it's far more intimate with legitimate power than I'm comfortable with.

The statement by that freeper about wanting to einsatzgruppen against ALL liberals is not a lone wolf statement. You can find loads more like that on Freerepublic and other websites.

Yeah I see that. I don't wish to violate Godwin here but the Nazis justified the murder of their political enemies because they thought they were enemies of their country. Mike Vanderboegh (who had a hand in fluffing up the Fast & Furious kerfuffle) is calling for 'defensive' violent insurrection:

"If we refuse to obey, we will be fined. If we refuse to pay the fine, we will in time be jailed. If we refuse to report meekly to jail, we will be sent for by armed men. And if we refuse their violent invitation at the doorsteps of our own homes we will be killed -- unless we kill them first. ... I am on record as advocating the right of defensive violence against a tyrannical regime."[Link: videocafe.crooksandliars.com...]

Godwin's law is overused and overrated. Once can invoke the history of the Nazis without engaging in the fallacy of reductio ad Hitler.

And it's scary, I agree. A saw that I repeat often is that one of the marks of eliminationist violence is the invocation of self-defense.

27 Eclectic Infidel  Fri, Jun 29, 2012 9:23:37am

Looked this one up: Einsatzgruppen

Einsatzgruppen (German: "task forces";[1] singular Einsatzgruppe; official full name Einsatzgruppen der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD) were SS paramilitary death squads that were responsible for mass killings, typically by shooting, of Jews in particular, but also significant numbers of other population groups and political categories. The Einsatzgruppen operated throughout the territory occupied by the German armed forces following the German invasions of Poland, in September, 1939, and later, of the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. The Einsatzgruppen carried out operations ranging from the murder of a few people to operations which lasted over two or more days, such as the massacres at Babi Yar (33,771 killed in two days) and Rumbula (25,000 killed in two days). The Einsatzgruppen were responsible for the murders of over 1,000,000 people, and they were the first Nazi organizations to commence mass killing of Jews as an organized policy.

I don't think a Godwin is possible when your opponent is openly calling Nazi tactics to be used against people he disagrees with.

I admire your bravery to actually go to that website. I don't think I could do it. These sites deliberately foster that kind of interaction because they get the page hits and rabid fans. There has always been this weird crazy streak in internet forums. It is relatively shocking that sites don't mind being represented by those kind of people, but you know, they buy coffee cups and bumper stickers and attend Beck U, and then the righties in charge get a show on CNN or Fox, so it's all good, at least for lining ones pockets.
