France’s National Front Threatens to Sue Madonna Over Swastika Image
Don’t you hate it when reporters omit important facts?
While Marine has cosmetically distanced herself from the holocaust revisionism and antisemitism of her father, Jean Le Pen, the hard core party base is still in process of switching from hating Jews first to hating Muslims first.
Marine still allies with the same gang of far right fascism-loving Euro skeptic parties that her father did (Sweden Democrats, Vlaams Belang, UKIP, Austrian Freedom Party, etc.) The party itself still proposes Monarchy as a valid political philosophy in guise of Europe’s “Nieuw Recht” clothing.
Much like the US’s tribal supremacists who sometimes style themselves as “racialists, not racists,” the monarchist FN fascists adopt a line that they don’t hate immigrants, they just want them in their own homeland. They also espouse reactionary tradition and culture protection measures over multiculturalism, a direction that WN terrorist Anders Breivik certainly agreed with. Indeed parties like FN in Europe are the last vestiges of Europe’s feudal system and tribal supremacist tyranny, and in the 21st century it’s well overdue to be gone.
France’s far right-leaning National Front party is threatening to sue after singer Madonna showed a video of party leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika superimposed on her forehead during a concert in Paris.
“The images that were projected draw a terrible link between the party and an ideology that we reject,” party Vice President Florian Philippot said Monday.
The party took issue after the video was projected during a show at the Stade de France national stadium Saturday night.
“Just because she is rich and well-known does not mean we should accept such atrocities. It’s an insult against Marine Le Pen and an insult to all the National Front party members,” Philippot added.
CNN was not able to immediately reach representatives of Madonna for the singer’s reaction.
The image is part of a video montage of several current and deposed world leaders that is projected onto a giant screen during the song “Nobody Knows Me” during Madonna’s current world tour.
After the image of Le Pen appears, it fades into one of Adolf Hitler.
