Bulgaria Bomber Was A Caucasian Dressed Like A Tourist With A Fake Michigan License

The bombing of a coach carrying Israeli tourists was carried out by male suicide bomber with fake US identity documents, officials confirm.
The bomber, killed in the attack, was a young man with long hair who was described as a “caucasian” looking like any other tourist.
He was caught on CCTV walking around the airport dressed in sportswear, shorts and carrying a backpack before carrying out the attack on a coach load of Israeli tourists at the airport in the quiet Black Sea resort city of Burgas, some 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital, Sofia.

He looks American - but that could be just because of the shorts and baseball cap and tshirt, etc. I always wonder why security cameras in this day and age are of such poor quality. My pre-smartphone cellphone took clearer pictures.

He was reportedly carrying a U.S. passport and Michigan driver's license, but the press reports I've seen this morning seem to think those may have been fakes. And I think anyone looks American wearing that get-up. (Not really what I would have chosen for our national dress, but there it is.)

We'll see. A lot of information will be coming out the next couple of days.

The DL was totally a fake. No state will issue a DL to a non-resident.

I've been thinking about that point, which Destro made as well, and have come to the opinion that he only looks American to Americans, since young people in many other places in the world (at least in my travels and experience) dress exactly the same way. Although, I will grant that this uniform is America's unfortunate gift to the world.

Granted, that. And I would not be surprised to hear a person dressed like that, in an airport, speak just about any language there is.

And a guy dressed like that, in an airport, just sort of blends into the walls. Which I assume was the point. Who looks twice at another guy in shorts, sneakers and ball cap, lounging around?
