She had to go with the pink matches her pink jacket (oh, and that eyeliner! Yikes!). Really, that website should be submitted as things not to do on a website.

Her slogan -- “I’m Senator And I Know It” -- is a play on the LMFAO hit.

Is her daddy funding her campaign? And will women from New York and New Jersey please stop going to tanning salons for the love of god! Stop!

Legally Blond was supposed to be a comedy, not a how to manual.

In Legally Blond, the main character was actually really smart.

Oddly, a gal I know, a radical feminist and Mizrahi activist, but also frum and female, had a hot pink website much like that during the nineties. She's had it redesigned since.

Somehow I don't see this campaign going much of anywhere, but there are much weirder candidates out there.

I like the photos on her 'issues page'. This is like the politicization of MySpace.

She's running for the NYS State Senate, yet it's a picture of the US Capitol on her page. Photoshop error, or indicative of aspiration to even higher office.

Either way, that site is more than enough to cause serious eye strain and should be exhibit A of how not to design a site.

Oh, and it appears that Meyer's not going to be able to run on the GOP line; she didn't get the paperwork filed

The problem stems from her party registration. Ms. Meyer initially registered without officially stating a party preference and only recently changed her status to Republican, which New York State does not allow to take effect until after the general election. Without the paperwork being filed to specifically allow her to be the Republican designee as a non-Republican, this means she will be confined to running only under the Conservative Party’s banner.

Her campaign initially told The Politicker that the filed the necessary item — called a Wilson Pakula — to run on the ballot under a party line that a candidate is not registered under, but a very confident source familiar with the matter said that a Wilson Pakula was only filed under the Conservative line.

Ultimately, this won’t have a huge impact on the race as the Democratic incumbent, State Senator Kevin Parker, is set for an easy victory in such staunchly Democratic territory, and Ms. Meyer will still be able to campaign and get her message out, just with one less party behind her.

HA! That made my day!
She is very pretty, which can get you surprisingly far in this world, but i think she may need some more political grooming first!

My favorite was this comment;

"We endorsed her," said Jerry Kassar, chairman of Brooklyn's Conservative party. "We filed her petitions on the conservative party line and we anticipate her being a strong candidate. We were very excited after we met with her and I say she will be formidable and a strong contender. She has a maturity and an ability well beyond her years."

All the while techno hip hop was playing and there was a glittery "I'm senator and i know it" flashing across the top of the screen!
