2 white guys nominally "Christian" carried out 2 mass killings dressed in combat gear killing a lot of people....and yet no drive in America reflect on how this country is so violent and leads the civilized world in such behavior (and by leads its like a huge lead).

But if those 2 criminals were Muslims carrying out domestic terrorism we would see freaked out hysteria.

The only freaked out hysteria we will now see is:

A) Right wingers trying to distance their ideology from the behavior it caused in the Sikh temple massacre.

B) More Americans buying more guns to stave off the imaginary zombie apocalypse in their fevered brains.

This kind of stuff is not far off the fringe of the current GOP base. If the President is reelected, watch the comments on the wingnut blogs explode with rage and calls for violence.

You mean pissed off white guys showing up at anti-Obama rallies with rifles and signs about 2nd amendment solutions and the 'Don't Tread On Me" flags was not enough inducement to violence?

That will seem mild compared to what's to come. The calls for secession, a military coup, or civil war, which are already out there, will skyrocket, as will the blatant racism and calls for genocide and a race war. Most of the people posting this crap will be blowhards, but I expect more racist attacks by hate-filled losers in the coming months, who will in part be inspired by the incitement to violence they are seeing all over mainstream rightwing websites.

Hopefully they are all talk. But I am less hopeful about that now then ever before.
