No surprise coming from the jackass who dissed Ms. Duckworth.

Let's goolge a quick tally of this week's terrorism related deaths. From the first page of results:

Saturday, August 4: 45 dead, 40 wounded in Yemen by a suspected al-Qaeda suicide bomber. They were civilian militia fighters attending a funeral.

Sunday, August 5: 8 dead, 9 wounded in Nigeria when a suicide bomber, thought to be a member of Boko Haram, drove a car up to a military checkpoint. Of the eight dead, two were civilians. The remaining dead & wounded were soldiers.

Wednesday, August 8: 7 confirmed dead, unknown number wounded in two separate attacks in Afghanistan. In the first incident "...two attackers wearing suicide vests detonated their explosives as a NATO foot patrol passed by the headquarters of the provincial government, provincial police chief Ewas Mohammad Naziri said." Three NATO service members and one Afghan civilian were killed. The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility. (I guess they were proud of their evil deed.//)

In the second incident a bus hit a roadside bomb while traveling in an area where insurgents had been battling Afghan police since earlier in the day for control of the road. Three were confirmed dead, and an unknown number were wounded. According to a victim:

One of the wounded men spoke to The Associated Press by telephone from the hospital. Abdullah, 52, said his wife was killed by the explosion. He said he had counted at least two more bodies before a villager passing by in a car picked up him, his wounded son and one of the bodies, taking them all to the hospital.

Abdullah was wounded by shrapnel in the forehead and the shoulder. He said the body of his wife was still at the scene along with several wounded people.

"They were shouting for help, but nobody was there to help them," said Abdullah, who like many Afghans uses just one name. He added that the car he escaped in had no more room and ambulances could not reach the bus because of fighting.

It was unclear by late Wednesday if the battle had ended or if the bus passengers had been rescued.

Friday, August 10: 5 dead, 70 wounded in Iraq when a suicide bomber drove a truck into a Shi'ite mosque during Friday prayers.

If my math is correct, that's 65 dead and 119+ wounded. In one week. And that was just a cursory search.

Joe Walsh needs to pull his head out and stop scare mongering. A LOT of innocent people are dying thanks to radical Muslim terrorists, and the vast majority happen to be Muslim themselves.

If his district includes Elgin, I need to remind my extended family to vote for Duckworth and help get rid of this toxic turd.

I'm sure when Tammy Duckworth beats him in the election, it will be all the Muslim Brotherhood's fault. Guy's a joke.

I didn't forget. Walsh is a wingnut; Americans are supposed to be concerned about being killed by Muslims, not white neo-Nazis. I'm pretty sure that in his world white non-Muslims cannot possibly be terrorists. Unless they're "leftists"...

Knights Templar Drug Cartel Burns Michoacan, Western State in Mexico
LA RUANA, Mexico -- The farm state of Michoacan is burning. A drug cartel that takes its name from an ancient monastic order has set fire to lumber yards, packing plants and passenger buses in a medieval-like reign of terror. New Method for Producing Clean Hydrogen
Duke University engineers have developed a novel method for producing clean hydrogen, which could prove essential to weaning society off of fossil fuels and their environmental implications. While hydrogen is ubiquitous in the environment, producing and collecting molecular hydrogen for transportation and industrial uses is expensive and complicated. Just as importantly, a byproduct of most current methods of producing hydrogen is carbon monoxide, ...

Mitch McConnell Loses His Mind and Accuses Harry Reid of Intimidating Him
"It all points to a culture of political intimidation. But, unfortunately, it doesn't seem that the culture of intimidation is simply confined to the Executive Branch. The Administration's allies in the Senate are trying to intimidate their political opponents as well. What I'm talking about, is the persistent threat by the Majority to break the rules of the Senate in order to change ...

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

We know how to reduce the incidence of common medical conditions but …
Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. And, shockingly, diseases that had in the past begun in old age are now appearing at much earlier ages. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...

 Frank says:

This is Frank Zappa saying, Don't do speed. Speed turns you into your parents. -- this used to play OFTEN as a public service announcement(PSA) on radio station WHFS at 102.5 FM in bethesda,MD.USA during the early '70's. it was followed by a nearly inaudible whisper, "...but grass and acid are o.k.", which may have been frank, or one of the mothers.
