I'm trying to figure out exactly why they would resort to such Bush League tactics. Crowell endorsed John Brunner, one of Akin's primary opponents who spent $8 million of his own money and had the support of the GOP establishment but still lost badly. Scott Faughn is apparently mad about something Akin said on Hannity's program about Mark Richardson, a former politician from his area. Anyway, it seems to me like a cheap excuse to use bully tactics. I don't have much sympathy for Akin, but this kind of stuff is over the top, especially for a State Senator.

Thanks for the lead. You made the story and I was the photographer. Yes, this is very underhanded and shouldn't be tolerated. Regardless of our ideology we must keep it civil. Basically what we're seeing here is the proverbial political back stabbing being carried out by internet neophytes.

Wow, way out of line for him to do that.

If the TPGOP wants to turn cannibal, I'm not going to criticize their choice of whine.

So Rocky Kingree, a prosecutor from that part of the state, has been clarifying whey they are so upset with Akin. Basically, it's because Akin said something on Hannity's program about Richardson being guilty of a felony, but Richardson wasn't guilty of a felony (instead, he had two DUIs). So they feel like Akin attacked a local hero. I still don't think this justifies the disproportionate response of posting Akin's phone #, but I thought I should at least share the point of view of the people posting the info. Also, Kingree claims that Crowell supported Sarah Steelman, a different primary opponent of Akin, but Crowell now says that Brunner should replace Akin if Akin drops out.
