Once elected, Sheriff Szabo will arrest anyone involved in the murder of a citizen of Hillsborough County.”

So we can murder non-citizens of Hillsborough County at will? Canadian tourists beware!

"Frank Szabo, the Republican candidate for Sheriff of Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, said in a Wednesday interview with a local television station that if elected" he would ignore the law and let his own beliefs be the law. But we aren't talking about premeditated murder are we? Not at all. He would avoid that, unless, of course.....

I heard about this guy. I told the ladies at skepchick about it, and we got into a discussion about him over there..

[Link: skepchick.org...]

I still don't understand how Frank Szabo thinks he'll be able to get away with it. He knows full well that Abortion is legally and unless he's in a total far right fantasy world, he has to know that he would be arrested if he even tried to enforce an anti abortion law that doesn't even exist. If he even tried to arrest a women who had an abortion or tried to get an abortion, he would be arrested. Even as Sheriff he won't be above the law. Not mention how this will convince a lot of people not to support him in the first place.

Holy. Shit.

Oh he's just a candidate. Thank goodness. All kinds of deranged people can be candidates. I thought he was the actual sheriff.

re: #5 jytdog

The scary thing is, he might become an actual sheriff.
