1 Tiny Alien Kitties are Watching You  Tue, Aug 28, 2012 12:21:30pm
“Our managers communicated to our workforce that the attendance at the Romney event was mandatory, but no one was forced to attend,”

Say what?
English motherfucker, do you speak it?

You need to understand coal operators--when they say 'forced', they mean guns and axehandles.

Mandatory but no one was forced to come so basically you're fired if you don't go but we won't force you to go.

Sounds to me like each of them should send a bill for one day's wages to the Romney Campaign. Then, if they don't get paid, sue them in small claims court. Each separately. If nothing else, the headaches that would cause Mitten's attorney's would be worth the effort.

Those currently placing themselves on 'The Right' seem to have a problem with this whole freedom of conscience thing, don't they?

Apparently I woke up this morning in the People's Republic of China where your employer tells you to attend approved political indoctrination events.

And I'm sure anyone who didn't attend would be branded an outlaw liberal; someone who hates America, the American way, and denies America's greatness. Someone who hates apple pie, baseball, and puppies.

Spits.

The mine's owner, Robert Murray, is a major climate change denialist and seems to have a problem with science in general.
He blamed the fatal 2007 collapse of his Crandall Canyon mine on a naturally occurring 3.9 earthquake. Government and academic seismologists are unanimous that this is not the case, but Murray still clings adamantly to his story. Murray was fined a record $1.6 million in the incident.
