Luke Scott thankfully is not an Oriole anymore thankfully. Nice player but a birther kook. Anyhow, as a rare Orioles-Steelers fan. I hate the Ravens but props to Brandon and what the hell is wrong with this legislator? The man is entitled to speak in support of gay marriage. Can you imagine someone trying to silence Tim Tebow if Tebow spoke out in favor of a ban on gay marriage?

Scott is 34 and having another bad season, so he should be out of baseball soon. Christian patriots are of course free to speak their minds./

I'm going to write to the Taliban and demand that they order this kook Emmett C. Burns Jr to stfu. That's who he works for, right?

Another glowing example of a GOP legislator showing his respect for freedom of speech. I would call this blackmail, demanding that ones employer be used as a gag. Christian, eh?

Link not working for me. Story at NFL.com:

Without even considering what political side of the fence you are on this issue, Burns' letter comes across as a cynical, short-sighted plea for attention. It is truly bizarre to think that he'd ask the Ravens to stifle Ayanbadejo's political activities.

This whole story leaves us a little speechless. We'll let Ayanbadejo's perfect response speak for us.

Football is just my job it's not who I am. I am an American before anything. And just like every American I have the right to speak!!!

And from The Big Lead.

Burns is a Democrat. Stupid is not the exclusive purview of one party or religion.

My bad. Didn't do my homework. Sure sounded like GOP babble. I am well aware that stupid crosses all lines. My apologies to the GOP./
