Good luck retaining "the base" with that.

And good luck getting Congress on board. Dems won't allow repeal and GOTPers won't allow anything but full repeal.

Mitt's dug a hole he can't crawl out of.

He'll worry about that later. Right now, he'll say anything if he thinks it will help him get elected. Obama hatred will keep the base in line for the election; he has to reach out beyond them to win.

Mitt has no platform. Mitt has no ideas. Mitt only has advisers.

I'm beginning to wonder if this man doesn't actually need a team of psychiatrists instead of a team of advisors. By the time the debates roll around, he's going to need to keep so many policy reversals and changes in his head that his real position is going to be harder to figure out than the plot progression of Lost.

Good luck trying to defend that on national TV.

I think the debates will rock.

I also think that this is where Obama will bet a real bounce.

Good luck getting insurance company lobbyists to okay "must cover pre-existing conditions" without the individual mandate filling out the premium-paying risk pool with bunches of healthy people.

Barney Frank called it when he said Mitt Romney is on every side of an issue -- Myth Romney.

I like John Kerry's broadside even better. "Before you debate Barack Obama on foreign policy, you better finish the debate with yourself."

Romney changed his position again? Wow what a shock.
