So Jen Psaski concedes that Barack Obama is an illegal alien and has been preparing the Earth for the eventual overthrow of the human species? "The Audacity of Hope" was really a cook book?

ALIEN SHARIA!!!

Actually, there is a short story called "On Venus, Have We Got A Rabbi", and part of the backstory is that Earth has made contact with a bivalve alien species which converts to Islam, decides that all human Muslims are heretics, and kicks all the humans out of the Middle East, which is why Venus has this giant Jewish community.

The actual plot of the story deals with a fight in the Jewish community over whether to accept the Jewish credentials of the Bulba, who look like leather couch pillows with tentacles. The hero is fine, he explains, with the blue Jews from Aldebaran--"A Jew can be blue, I don't say I like it, but who am I argue with someone else's color scheme?"--but isn't sure about things that simply don't look like people.

“Gov. Romney has repeatedly discussed his opposition to attempts to make our country a more secular nation. He has been saying this even before Obama became President.”

Another reason to vote against Romney; the U.S. has always been a secular nation (see the Treaty of Tripoli).

Remember that Mr Christian Nation David Barton was on the GOP platform committee. He lies like a rug, and do Romney/Ryan.

Not really thrilled with this answer from Jay Carney. Yes, it is an absurd comment for Romney to make however it is not absurd enough to silence the debate. This statement reflect the emotional immaturity of Americans in their inability to confront these questions whether through a secular view or a religious one as Theodore Roosevelt noted as "sacrilege."

The idea that the odds are that Aliens will attack before "In God We Trust" is removed from money is an odd one because the chance of an Alien attack are probably one in a Gogol. In a way this is denial of cultural evolution of human beings to suggest that such a practice will remain for what amounts to eternity.

On a funny note it's interesting that he used the alien attack anecdote to defend something that amounts to honoring an alien being on coinage and money. One that according to biblical accounts is capable of wreaking havoc on Earth (floods, fires, etc.) not to dissimilar from the alien attack found in science fiction.

Humans.

"The president believes as much that god should be taken off a coin as he does that aliens will attack Florida," Carney said. "It’s an absurd question to be raised.”
-- Jay Carney
