An Open Letter to Mitt Romney
Dear Mr. Romney,
I am average America. I am a hard-working lower-middle-class man who sits behind a desk for 8 hours a day to put bread on the table and keep a car in the garage. I have a wife, a son, three cats, and a small but very warm circle of friends. I have good parents who raised me on American values of kindness, generosity, loyalty, and focused determination.
And I have had enough of your bullshit.
I am sick and tired of you and your cronies sitting around behind closed doors talking down your noses to each other about how we’re all no-good freeloaders. I have had enough with you prattling on and on about being “job creators” and your value to society and the economy. I am absolutely fed up with you bashing our sitting President and those who agree with him solely because he’s not you. Guess what? At this juncture, that’s a selling point! You are arrogant, you are condescending, and worst of all, you don’t even realize it. And we are tired of being treated like nothing more than pawns on your political chessboard. We are middle America, and we are no man’s pawns. We are PEOPLE. And we will be heard. So STFD, STFU, and learn some humility as we teach you what really powers the engine of this economy - the backs and the brains of average America.
