QUIKSILVER PRO FRANCE: DAY ONE
The wind swung cooperatively offshore overnight, groomed a strong if dropping NW swell into hollow four-to five-foot peaks, and perhaps most importantly in the land of the Gauls, the sky didn’t fall in. Heat one of round one surfers paddled out at 9am on the first day of the Quiksilver Pro France waiting period.
The ASP World Tour enters it’s European stretch with a very tight title race heating up between Mick, Kelly and Joel. John John is very much in the mix as well and the level of talent in professional surfing has never been better. Will Kelly get his 12th World Title in 2012?
