Geez, right down the block from the National Constitution Center (Establishment clause, anyone?) and round the corner from the National Museum of American Jewish History, currently featuring George Washington's letter to the Newport RI congregation...something about this being a country that "gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance." Too much trouble, I guess, to go to either of those.

Friday we had Romney visiting, today Robertson.

Mantra for this election: I am not a guest in my own country. I am a citizen, with equal rights and privileges.

George Washington understood that. Too bad these clowns don't.

Mitt understands, but Roberson has no real regard for the Constitution.

If Mitt understands, wouldn't it be nice if he had the balls to stand up and say so?

But he doesn't, because just like with the "angry white males" Sen. Graham speaks of, Romney needs the extreme right Christian enthusiasm on his side, so he'll stay quiet about it. What a profile in courage--he's got a spine made of pasta.

Well, Mitt as a Mormon bishop believes Jesus visited America and hung out with Indians who themselves are Hebrews so it maybe hard for him to disagree.

Pat, Show me in the Bible where Jesus says anything about America, or even gentiles, belonging to him.

Destro,

Off course Pat Robertson doesn't care what atheists or the ACLU have to say about our country. He doesn't really care what the constitution has to say, only what he wants it to say.

If the nation belongs to Jesus, maybe Robertson's church can help pay down the national debt.

LOL! If his church has to pay that, when he finds out how much that is, I think he'll change his mind.

Applying Robertson's standards, one would have to think that Jesus is a fairly sloppy landlord.

Pat Robertson's standards would turn us into a cesspool little different from the various backward Arab theocracies.

Why kiss his ass then? Really Republican politicians and politicians as a whole should avoid Robertson like the plague for many reasons especially his moronic assertion that social liberalism is why 9-11 happened.

Which Bible? The Mormon Bible?
