Eh she usually rubs me the wrong way especially when she gets into the "We should appreciate Mitt" mode but right here she's just being a loyal wife. I can't fault her for that. And I understand her concern for his mental well-being because the man is obsessed with being president.

This late in the game, the egomaniacs finally figure out that the ultimate bragging right costs more than they bargain for. Just look at "before" and "after" photos of pretty much any president. See how it ages them, because its far more than you'd expect after just 4 or 8 years.

PotUS is a killing job. Not in the same weight class as coal miner, but it still takes a toll. Only the naive and ego-maniacal consider it a dream job. Everyone else is glad they weren't the man in late '01 nor early '09. You don't want to be where the buck stops, especially when its a big one.

I think any sane spouse would be worried about the mental well-being of their partner if (s)he held the most consequential job in the world. Let's not make this out for more than what it is.
