American hired and fired in Israel goes postal, kills. Israel will now better screen applicants (i.e. Americans are dangerous)
Here is a story of an American hired from the USA and brought to work in Israel and when he is fired goes postal. Even in Israel, where there are lots of armed people, it is the American that goes postal when fired from his job.
So maybe it’s not the gun but the culture?
In any case, Americans need to be examined more closely, we seem to come from a dangerous and murderous culture.

After Eilat shooting, JAFI probes applications

Jewish Agency-sponsored internship brought American William Hershkovitz, who killed one at an Eilat hotel, to Israel.
Following a deadly shooting incident in Eilat on Friday morning, Jewish Agency chairman Natan Sharansky appointed a panel to examine the processes by which the American gunman was accepted to the “Israel Way” program, formerly known as Oranim, in Eilat.
The 23-year-old shooter from Poughkeepsie, New York, identified as William Hershkovitz, was in Israel as a part of the Israel Way program supported by the Jewish Agency, that brings Jews from around the world for volunteer work, study and internship.
Police said Hershkovitz was fired from his internship in the hotel kitchen a day before the shooting, which left one person dead and three others suffering from shock. —-> Continued
