Those of us here who are firearms enthusiasts are probably aware of Shotgun News. I find their history articles tolerable & their gunsmithing articles quite good but really, their reason for existence is advertising.

There is a retailer of flashlights from Kentucky called Elzetta. They have been running a long series of cartoon ads allegedly featuring an LEO who has every problem imaginable solved by their flashlights. Silly at best. Now, however, they have an ad in the most recent issue of Shotgun News pushing Mittens saying voting for “the current administration” is stupidity.

That is certainly their right; just as it is mine to let them know what I think of that ad…

Your ads have been annoying, to say the least, for a very long time. Your latest, however, crosses a line.

Mittens has signed a real gun ban and said that Massachusetts laws don’t need to be loosened. Supposedly he’s pro-gun.

Obama has signed several bill expanding where people can carry and otherwise improve our gun rights. He did contine the Bush League “gunwalker” shit which was a mistake but everything else he has actually done has been positive. So he’s “anti-gun”.

1) I will not vote for an anti-gun activist who panders to racists and who spends more time lying than breathing.
2) I will not purchase any of your products for promoting him.
