Apologies- I didn't mean to step on you.

I checked, collected the links..and the rest elicits a mea culpa.

So if I see Jim Cantore pull up in the Weather Channel Van outside my house I should make a run for it? The geeks will be besides themselves and the straws are being drawn for who goes where. "Now to our live coverage of what we can only hope will be widespread misery and destruction....Jim?"

Yikes! I don't watch T or listen to the radio, so I wasn't even aware of it. Sheesh.

Never, EVER trust Accuweather. Their forecasts indirectly led to some of the catastrophic response to Hurricane Katrina. Their forecasting is shoddy at best.

I recommend this site instead.

I usually listen to the weather from the Nat'l Weather Service. I also follow it online through [Link: www.erh.noaa.gov...] That is the web address for the Nat'l Weather Service in Philly. And I also go to Weather Underground.

Very funny. Pathetically true for all of our media.

Better yet would be seeing someone behind our courageous reporter standing on the beach, combover flying at full mast, that sorry someone struggling in the water, seconds away from drowning, with the final cut back to the studio as that person goes down for the 3rd time.

/Sarcasm dripping in truth of what the media longs for
