I'd like to attribute this stupidity to a drinking problem, but I'm afraid it's much worse.

It's a Tea problem.

These people are going to become completely unhinged when the President is re-elected.

Some states already have agreements with OSCE and they are allowed to observe inside the polling stations. Others do not and it is up to that State whether to allow observers to be present or not. If they are not allowed in by the state then just like any other other citizen they have to remain a certain distance (it may vary by state, but usually 100 feet) away from the polling place. You can't loiter, harass, or campaign within the exclusion zone around the polling place (or observe either).

The Texas A.G. is getting a whole bunch of free brownie points with the wingnuts for threatening the observers with prosecution for entering the 100' zone. He is also being credited with "kicking them out" when all he is really doing is stating the existing law (albeit in a rather nasty way).

As far as Missouri goes it is the exact same thing, if they don't want to allow OSCE observers into polling stations then that is their choice. However the Lt. Gov. is dreaming if he thinks the state can bar observers from entering the entire state. All they can legally do is keep them outside the exclusion zone around the polling station, nothing more.

If the observers want to be there to watch who comes and goes, or to talk to people about their experience inside after they have voted, then that is their right.

And most of them have firearms.

What really has these neo-Confederate overseers stirred up is the realization that European countries have universal health care and, worse, many of them have a minimum wage that is twice as high as ours. Their solution is not to improve things here, but to isolate us from these bad examples by demonizing the Euros as heathens and communists.

The whole Republican party has turned into one big lie.
If the Republican were trying to take the vote away from so many people there wouldn't be a need for this.

Obama better win. I invested in FEMA internment camps.

“UN observers, monitors, have no business in our elections and should be kept out of Missouri,” he told radio host Dana Loesch. “I’m calling on legislative leaders in the majority party in both the House and Senate — Republican leadership — to join me in saying we will not have these UN election monitors in our state.”

Maybe the Albanians are here to observe our Exceptionalism. /
