The RPG-7 was made in huge numbers, and its grenades are still in production, so this is not a surprise. The system will be deadlier in cartel hands than it has been when used by the Taliban: the cartel fighters are able to read and write, and the Zetas at least tend to know their weapons well and train with them properly. A well-trained man can do much more damage than an untrained man.

It's a damn shame it's come to this. When the "border wars" come up the partisan memes get right in the way. From the RW stirring emotions to the far left illegal immigration/open border activists we get this double thick stupidity filter applied first.

Time to throw away the filters and go for clarity and resolution if I may continue the allusion to photography.

Our misguided and foolish drug war is causing this.

Our misguided and foolish drug war is causing this.

Imagine if gangsters had RPGs during prohibition instead of tommy guns.
