1 Tiny Alien Kitties are Watching You  Sat, Oct 27, 2012 8:58:19pm

That suit is a mess, they allege what seems to be a never ending laundry list of conspiracies against pretty much everyone in the financial industry and in the government too.

It also has some great anti-Obama soundbites in the making prominently displayed for whoever might want them. All about how none of the TARP money has ever been repaid and the President is lying to the public and Congress by saying that some has been, etc.

This pile of junk is going nowhere, unless you count the airwaves, although if they have any sense the media will just laugh and then ignore it.

And yes, they call them "Banksters" in the suit...good grief...

Defendant Bankster Enterprise comprised all of the National Banking Enterprises set forth below and certain of its individuals.

“It is hard for me to believe as a 47-year lawyer that our nation’s guardians have been unwilling to stop this theft. Spire Law Group, LLP stands for the elimination of corruption and implementation of lawful strategies, and that is what we’re doing here. Spire Law Group, LLP’s charter is to not allow such corruption to go unanswered.”

In all due respect where has this guy been living the last 50 years? Hard to believe? The Banksters control both major parties and do not care who wins. Screw the public and milk the debt slaves. Most judges have been bought and paid for as well so you suit may have a bumpy ride if one at all. The markets are rigged and its time to tilt with windmills? Good luck. Why now? Where were you 47 years ago when it might have made some difference. We are past the tipping point. Hang on.

Yeah, it's a hot mess, but when you look at the landscape of who has been called into account for what happened, it doesn't paint a very rosy picture.

Uhh yeah, good luck with getting any convictions, little late now don't ya think? Support for them was somewhat there from late 08 and thru 09 but now? Not. Gonna. Happen.

The more of the suit I read the more utterly laughable it becomes, if they have legitimate accusations then why not make them in plain and accurate english? Simply throwing the words banksters, money laundering and ponzi scheme into every other sentence is meaningless. Actually it is worse than meaningless when used outside of their understood definitions and merely as embellishment for the "shock" value.

This reads more like a P.R. stunt by a first year law student than a serious filing by someone prepared to argue it in court. I'm sorry if you don't like my opinion but that is what it is.

I read this last night and thought it bizarre beyond words. The news article (on yahoo finance) read like a press release including the firms name, address and phone number. I wasn't buying what they were selling.

As for Marcy Wheeler, I have a hard time taking her seriously since she is, or was, part of FireDogLake. Jane Hamsher is crazy and destructive and when the Obama team talked about The Professional Left, I'm sure she was who they were referring to. She's so far left she's gone around the world and is in right wing crazy territory. It's as if she has no idea how legislation happens, no concept of give and take, and nothing is better than anything less than perfect, in her feeble little mind.

Between her and Suzie Madrak at Crooks and Liars, who wouldn't know the truth if it ran her over, they both give The Left a really bad name. Both Hamsher and Madrak are a waste of oxygen, and sorry to say, Wheeler by association.

43 trillion? That's only 8 percent of the tax cut Biden says Romney wants to give to the rich. Still, it seems like an unusually stratospheric figure.

My computer says that's about 800 thousand metric tons of gold. Good luck collecting on the lawsuit. There's not enough gold in all the world to pay it, and if paid in paper money, the paper would be worth more as wallpaper than as a medium of exchange.

Analysis: No Incentive for GOP to Vote for Immigration Reform
National editor for The Cook Political Report Amy Walter says the bottom line on immigration reform for Republicans is, where's the incentive? "For these House Republicans there is very little incentive to vote for something," said Walter. Republicans up for re-election will face primary challenges if they sit in Republican districts, and almost all of them do, added Walter. More: Analysis: No Incentive for ...

Jack Shafer: Snowden vs the Dragons
Reuters: But even the press in aggregate is not a friend to whistle-blowers, as its recent treatment of Snowden attests, what with the deep dives into his teen years (including photos), his education and employment history, his reputation as a loner and a “brainiac,” his pants-down hijinks, his online scribblings, his dancer girlfriend, his predilection for (in his own words) “post-coital Krispy Kremes.” Squeezing ...

Baker’s Graduation Cake Mix-Up Ends in Purr-fect Mistake
When Laura Gambrel, 22, of Zionsville, Ind., graduated from Indiana University in May, she wanted to keep the celebration pretty low key. She didn’t walk at the ceremony, nor did she have a party because she planned to go right back to the university this coming fall for grad school. It seemed only fitting then that the one thing her mother attempted to do ...

Study: Reading Fiction Makes People Comfortable With Ambiguity
Are you uncomfortable with ambiguity? It's a common condition, but a highly problematic one. The compulsion to quell that unease can inspire snap judgments, rigid thinking, and bad decision-making. Fortunately, new research suggests a simple antidote for this affliction: Read more literary fiction. A trio of University of Toronto scholars, led by psychologist Maja Djikic, report that people who have just read a short ...
