FOX News campaign attacking FEMA just because Obama got praise for Sandy response
I stayed home and worked from home today because of the snow storm.
I figured FOX news would be entertaining to see how they handle the post election coverage.
All day in the morning the coverage was pretty much about if the GOP had to change its social conservative message to attract women and Hispanics (curiously, no mention on attracting more Blacks, Asians, etc.) and of course the answer is no! Women have to be “educated” as to why the social conservative ideal for women is the best choice.
Now I am watching “Your World With Neil Cavuto” and they are dumping on FEMA’s handling of Hurricane Sandy and they find any sort of bad news about that like mentioning that in Staten Island a FEMA office was closed due to the dangerous snow storm last night. Then they have - and here is the kicker - Bush’s former FEMA boss Michael ‘heck of a job, Brownie’ Brown via Skype to critique the current FEMA response in Staten Island.
Why? Best I can figure is that because FEMA was praised for how it handled the storm response through Obama’s oversight FOX is looking to tear down FEMA so as to rob Obama of his praise and make it seem like it was unwarranted. Also of course, FEMA is a federal dept and FOX has to make it seem that the Feds can’t do anything right.
And it’s 4:20 pm.
Time to blaze up.
