First world problems: After the most devastating storm ever to hit the city, people have SO MUCH FREAKING FOOD they can't stop eating.

Not So Much Freaking Food, So Much Freaking Bad Food. We see some of the very same reasons the poor tend to be over weight. Junk food cheap and readily accessible, Twix bars and Jolly Ranchers need no refrigeration or to be heated up. A good restaurant meal costs time, money and added travel hassles, same for groceries, plus no way to heat and then clean dishes.(with the low temps some people are storing food on windowsills and outside) Fast food is much easier to grab going to and from work. SoPo has become a nutritional food desert. Add to all of this the anxiety, uncertainly and depression accompanying the aftermath of this disaster and you have a Perfect Storm for obesity.

Don't worry, Michael Bloomberg is already planning to deal with it be curtailing candy sales.

/Partially kidding.
