I have seen half a dozen such "laying off employees because Obama was re-elected president" but this is the first one that I can find a source showing it is true. I have vowed to not show hate to the GOP now that they lost but man is it hard with news like this......

I'm sure that will endear those workers laid off to the republican party. I wonder if that letter will open him up to some kind of legal action seeing how it's a politically motivated lay off.

They deserve all the hate they get.

Proving once again there is no "Clean Coal." Obama had the audacity to sign a bill for clean air and the industry either will not or can not clean up the burning of coal. Natural gas is also pushing coal to the side, but that would never be admitted to. Blame Evil Clean Water and Air Obama. Coal. Last bastion of serfdom. It's only "Gods Will" when their side wins. How convenient.

Somehow I think Jesus would have a few problems with this.

Just saying.

Wow, that's the most smarmy, self-serving "prayer" ever.

If only Romney had been elected, he could've built coal-fired battleships so we could have that 1916 fleet he yearned for, and preserved coal jobs.

And he could have armed everyone with bayonets

Is he only going to lay off Democrats?

We need more South Carolina class battleships. Obviously.

It seems to me that that's the question. In most states, there's no law against flipping out and firing a lot of people because you're panicky about the economy. If it can be demonstrated that this was retaliation against employees who voted against this guy's wishes, then I think most states would consider that a juicy lawsuit waiting to happen.

Isn't this the same Murray with all the safety violations that have gotten a lot of miners killed?

14 Joanne  Fri, Nov 9, 2012 4:38:49pm

How about this, asshole. You go down in your mine and produce something. Your people risk their lives to produce and you take. This makers and takers crap is just that. Crap.

IT’s the ‘Wacko Birds’ vs. the Wackos Again

In comes John McCain, Obama's newest ally, along with Susan Collins to chide the actions of the conservative senators as bizarre and unprecedented. He's right. There Is No Such Thing Really as Professional Photographers
there's no such thing as Flickr Pro, because today, with cameras as pervasive as they are, there is no such thing really as professional photographers, when there's everything is professional photographers. WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer.
