Fuck off Glenn. You quote rabid racists and antisemites but we're the ones lost in darkness? Go back to drinking again, it may make you less of a miserable bastard.

What a creepy, creepy dude. I thought he was heading for the hills with ammo and seeds and gold? He's still here? Was Ted "I Shit My Pants" Nugent picked up by the Black Helicopters yet? Maybe they're dragging the river for his body? Creeps.

I don't understand. How can we all be in darkness after Beck has flooded the market with so many fine books, warning of every threat to our Rights? /

4 Jaerik  Fri, Nov 9, 2012 2:59:17pm

Am I the only one who can't help but read "darkness," "thousand years of darkness," etc. in the Charlie the Unicorn voice?

5 nines09  Fri, Nov 9, 2012 3:08:13pm

I suppose saying that he's actually correct would be a stretch. He's just calling the wrong side lost. Don't look in the mirror, Becky Boy.

At least 47% of us anyway.

God is stalking me? Is this same god who knows all and Sees all? You know, the omnipotent one?

If so, why does he need to stalk me? Or is Glenn talking about some other god?

Glenn Beck is a Evangelical Doomsayer class conspiracist. That is most of what you need to know about him.

Half of all Americans are ‘utterly and completely lost in darkness’

And the lovers, astronomers, and darkroom technicians among us like it that way.

While spending time in the Flores Sea area back in the '70s, 1000 miles or more from "light pollution" and "skyglow" one could observe the sky in all its grander. Meteorites sparking above about every 5-10 seconds and the Milky Way as the major light source on moonless nights. A F6F Hellcat skeleton sat on a reef as a reminder of past WWII activities. Kodak had problems (unknown to them or me) with its film back then and few of the thousands of photos I took in that era survived.

Agreed. And for those who take the time to do the math ... we are headed ..are already into very tough times and have been for a decade or more. Greece was the opener. Other Euro states are following into the financial abyss. The US will be one of the last, possibly the last, to implode. We have passed the tipping point where politics can sustain us further. It is up to us as individuals and our local communities to prepare accordingly. I give us 3-5 more years and hope I am wrong. The math argues otherwise.

Walker has compared the present-day United States to the Roman Empire in its decline, saying the U.S. government is on a "burning platform" of unsustainable policies and practices with fiscal deficits, expensive overcommitments to government provided health care, swelling Medicare and Social Security costs, the enormous expense of a prospective universal health care system, and overseas military commitments threatening a crisis if action is not taken soon.[6][7][8][9]

[soon has passed]

P.S. The Comptroller General is the only person in the U.S. Government required to tell the truth by law.

How does it feel to be one of the leaders of that group you're talking about Beck.

4 Reasons ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ Is Secretly About Drugs
Nice, right? Anyway, here's my thesis: Raiders of the Lost Ark is not an action-adventure movie about an archaeologist who plays by his own rules and saves the day. Instead, the film is an exploration of Marion Ravenwood's crippling drug addiction. An addiction that was born from her unhealthy relationship and continued association with Indiana Jones. Is it true? Who cares. Can I prove ...

New Method for Producing Clean Hydrogen
Duke University engineers have developed a novel method for producing clean hydrogen, which could prove essential to weaning society off of fossil fuels and their environmental implications. While hydrogen is ubiquitous in the environment, producing and collecting molecular hydrogen for transportation and industrial uses is expensive and complicated. Just as importantly, a byproduct of most current methods of producing hydrogen is carbon monoxide, ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...
