Da, Comrade Destro, times are good.
As future UN Commissioner for Lubbock County, I look forward as well to the profits we will reap converting their golf courses into marijuana farms, auctioning off their SUVs for salvage, and converting their churches into recreational centers for the UN troops.

Don't forget all the free UN sponsored abortions and condoms, comrade!

Um, guys, what about the coming racism against "the white man"?
Will the weaker sex finally be in charge?
Will people with names we currently find foreign, difficult to say or funny be telling us where to work and for how much?
Will we need to learn to speak something other then American?
Will we have to learn to eat spicy foreign food, or worse low fat healthy food?
Might need to start getting prepared...

Evidence I am a 5th columnist.....

A) I have Southern/Eastern European complexion (even though I am Scottish nobility) so I can pass for swarthy....

B) I, for one, welcome female domination (that sounds wrong).....

C) I have a funny foreign name for Americans to pronounce and I work for Europeans who insist I get 4 weeks paid vacation. Those evil bastards.

D) I speak un-American languages

E) I lose weight every time I eat food in Europe and gain weight eating food in America. The same food.

Let the chem trails fall where they may!!!!

All that and better. But let them prepare. We have apocalyptic entrepreneurship down to a science: We are also heavily invested in arms and ammunition, freeze-dried food, and portable generators. Once we have re-possessed them from our customers, these items will come in handy at the FEMA camps and re-forestation labor centers.

I am selling gold at huge mark up prices and all I am asking for is soon to be worthless dollars.

How can you resist?

Upding for treating the clownish Dick Morris in the manner he deserves.

I don't suppose we'll really notice here in the SF Bay Area-we sold out long ago.

Bloomberg Plans a $50 Million Challenge to the N.R.A.
Michael R. Bloomberg, making his first major political investment since leaving office, plans to spend $50 million this year building a nationwide grass-roots network to motivate voters who feel strongly about curbing gun violence, an organization he hopes can eventually outmuscle the National Rifle Association. FCC’s Rules for Spectrum Auction May Level Playing Field for Small Carriers
On Monday evening, Re/code wrote about the complicated set of rules that the FCC's wireless bureau is hoping will be adopted for the TV spectrum auction that will take place in 2015. The Insane History of Rockets at Jet Propulsion Laboratories
The Rocket Boys In the late 1930s, a group of Caltech graduate students were booted off campus after blowing up (part of!) their building during a rocket test gone awry. Unwilling to give up on the joy of semi-controlled explosions, the students and a few of their friends headed into the San Gabriel Mountains. They picked a deserted gully -- Arroyo Seco -- ...

Women on Front of Bundy Standoff - the Latest From the Front
But the scene above took place four years before Monica, in 1994, long before Clinton handed his enemies a scandal on a platter that seemingly made such references acceptable. It was not at a Republican caucus or Christian Coalition meeting, but at a gathering of right-wing "Patriots" who had come to hear about forming militias and common-law courts and defending their gun rights ...

Russ Campbell’s Blog: Military Threat Is Essential to Effective Diplomacy
President Theodore Roosevelt famously said: "speak softly, and carry a big stick." His idea was to negotiate peacefully, but with the ever-present threat of the "big stick," military action. Perhaps in this proverb lies is a valuable lesson for leaders of the Western democracies, and especially for President Obama. North Carolina Appeals Coal Ash Ruling
There's a lot of very weird stuff going on in the newly insane state of North Carolina. The state has a problem with coal ash, and with its groundwater, and with the reluctance of Duke Energy to clean up, among other things, the 39,000 fking pounds of the gunk that it spilled into the Dan River in February. The state's Environmental Management Commission ...
