Agreed on Hamas, would just submit we need to know more as in keeping our hearts from hardening against the Palestinian people.

On our Israel trip, one of my most pleasant experiences was with a Palestinian merchant. Of course they identify themselves as--my family is from Jordan. The shopping etiquette is--if you look at an item for more than five seconds, you are expected to negotiate a deal. If you touch the item, you are expected to complete the deal. The only place this logic does not apply, it seems, is in government.
