Yes, the Catholic church does, but the Teabagger fundamentalists don't, so Rubio has to go with the more important constituency. And he's supposed to be one of the "new" breed of Republicans, like his creationist brother Republican Bobby Jindal.

Yes, the Catholic church does, but the Teabagger fundamentalists don't, so Rubio has to go with the more important constituency. And he's supposed to be one of the "new" breed of Republicans, like his creationist brother Republican Bobby Jindal.

Jindal is also a Catholic and unlike the whackado Protestants, the Catholic church accepts Darwinian science. But again, Catholics are not the base of the GOP, snake handling Protestants are.

Rubio does not know how old the earth is. Just like how old Barack Obama is, or what country the President was born in.
